Easing Into 2022 With Intention

Happy New Year! Hopefully you’re feeling recharged and ready to take on all the opportunities and challenges 2022 will throw your way.

Things around here look very different. I’m now a mama and completely beholden to the whims and schedule of a tiny human. For those who are curious, Baby Girl came a week early on December 3. And VERY quickly…as in I wrapped up work at 6:30, my husband got home from work around 10:30, and she was in our arms at 11:35. We’ll keep the rest of this newsletter business as usual, but if you want to hear the full birth story or share your own, be sure to reach out!

It took about 30 different sessions, some of which were one-handed, but I wrote a blog post reflecting on my 3rd year as a purpose-driven business owner.

This post isn’t meant to toot my horn. Instead, it’s a love note to the entrepreneurial process and a way to offer some solidarity to you on your journey! Running an intentional business and living out your values is hard. But the challenge is also part of the appeal and it’s oh-so-worth it.

Be forewarned: it’s a bit of a doozy. I had a LOT of thoughts about the past year and I’m easing out of maternity leave* with big plans for this coming year. But if you like getting a peek behind the curtain of someone else’s business (like I do!), give it a read.

And whether you read the full post or not, I’d love to know how long you’ve been in business, how this past year went, and what your plans are for 2022. Let me know!

Toward purpose and progress,

Ashlee
