AN UNCONVENTIONAL START
I found my way to marketing and communications via an not-exactly-common mix of Anthropology, Linguistics, and French at Washington University in St. Louis. (All of which influence my current work, believe it or not.)
Before launching my business full-time in 2019, I worked with nonprofits, including a law school alumni department, an international headquarters of a human rights education NGO, and a county branch of Habitat for Humanity.
FREELANCER TURNED FOUNDER
I freelanced on the side for years, not knowing at the time that I was preparing for entrepreneurship.
In my personal life, I was going down the rabbit hole of conscious consumerism. That led me to the concept of business for good. Along the way, I discovered values-aligned brand messaging and marketing strategy.
And I’ve never looked back.
I’ve since worked with 100+ businesses on everything from brand development and media list building to content creation and copywriting, always with values and audience-driven messaging at the core.
