Getting Kind Of Techie

Happy Lunar New Year and Black History Month! Let me know if you’re doing anything to celebrate either in your business or in your personal life.

Things on my end have been pretty techie these days as I focus on business automations and tech tools. You might have noticed that the last newsletter looked a little different. It was my first time sending via MailerLite*! I’ve really been enjoying the platform, not only for my newsletter, but also for the automations and scheduling. I use it for my welcome sequence when people download my Stand Up To Stand Out Workbook. And I’m doing a 5-day mini-intensive starting Feb 28, so that has a whole email funnel to deliver all the juicy content. (More on that below!) MailerLite is more intuitive than ConvertKit and the free version is WAY more robust than Mailchimp’s. Super fan here.

I’ve also been poking around Dubsado*. I’ve been using Honeybook* for over a year now and I liked how it upped my professional game with invoicing and proposals. But the more I went down the YouTube tutorial rabbit hole, the more I thought Dubsado might be a better fit for my brain and my business needs. Dubsado* has a great free trial, so when I get little pockets of time, I’m setting it up bit by bit. The biggest thing I’m looking forward to using: the paid scheduling link. This will totally streamline the client experience (and my backend labor) for my Quick Win Consulting Calls.

How’s your business tech treating you these days? Let me know if you’re loving—or struggling with—anything in particular!

Ashlee
