I loved chatting with Marti on the Rebel Maker Podcast. Marti and I met through Rosa during the launch of Marti’s podcast. (Listen to my interview with Rosa here!)
Together (via a couple Quick Win Consulting Calls), we co-created her podcast intro and trailer script, both of which were making her feel so stuck, but ended up being something she’s proud to put her brand behind.
So it was extra exciting to be on Marti’s show after seeing the very beginnings come together. And of course, our main theme of the discussion was that outside perspective we all need as visionaries and creators—the same thing Marti leveraged to get the podcast off the ground.
Marti’s favorite quote from the episode (and something I talk about ALL the time): “We are all just too close to it. I am the biggest advocate of outside perspective, whether it is a conversation like this, a formal consultant or coach, a mastermind, a life partner, it does not matter. We are so close to our own thoughts and feelings that it is so helpful to have it reflected back to us.”
